πŸ’œ Learn to make your OWN computer folder icons!

Have you seen the file folders for computer desktop organization that I create for each event, Reader?

I often get emails asking how you can change the text or design on them.

So... I've created a whole workshop on how to do it! In this workshop, I'll teach you how to use Canva, Procreate, and/or Photoshop to create your own folders! I have templates of four folders you can download to customize however you like.

The workshop is part of the Get Organized HQ Virtual event, which starts TODAY!

Obviously, an Organization event schedule is very... ORGANIZED! Each day focuses on different topics.

πŸ—“οΈ Monday - Home Organization; Cleaning Tips & Tricks

πŸ—“οΈ Tuesday - Organizing Craft Supplies; Making a Plan for Decluttering; Meal Planning & Prepping; Taking Action on Decluttering

πŸ—“οΈ Wednesday - Productivity; Home Decor; For Empty Nesters; Curating Your Wardrobe

πŸ—“οΈ Thursday - Organizing Paper; For Parents; Craft & DIY Projects; Home Helps & Hacks.

πŸ—“οΈ Friday - Self Care; Faith; Digital Organization; Budget & Finance

My workshop goes live at 6 PM ET, on Friday September 14th.

I'll teach you a fun way to dress up your desktop with custom designed folder icons!

There are over 100 speakers at this online event, so you'll definitely find more than a few must-attend workshops.

Today (Monday) I'm looking forward to these workshops the most!

  • 12 PM ET - Kathryn from Do It On A Dime - The Good Enough Home. Kathryn shares tactical, practical nuggets that will leave us feeling inspired.
  • 3 PM ET - Debbie from Scrap Me Quick Designs - How To Create Zones in Your Craft Room. She'll share ten key steps that will help us better organize, become more efficient, and increase our creative time.
  • 6 PM ET - Lisa Yvonne from The Moments at Home - Why Chore Charts Fail (and what actually works!) Lisa shares with us her transformative approach to household tasks that will empower children and enhance the family dynamics.

Tomorrow is Tuesday - Organizing Craft Supplies; Making a Plan for Decluttering; Meal Planning & Prepping; and Taking Action on Decluttering.

These are my top 3 picks for tomorrow.

  • 2 PM ET - Making 5-Ingredient Freezer Meals to Save Money on Groceries. Erin from 5 Dollar Dinners walks us through taking three recipes, doubling them into six dinners, and putting them in our freezer to both save us time and money.
  • 4 PM ET - Secrets to Incredible Craft Paper Storage. Justine Hovey helps us get our craft paper under control by leading us through methods of decluttering, organization, and maintaining control of our collection.
  • 7 PM ET - The Olympics of Decluttering: How To Declutter After A Loss. Tracy from dClutterfly goes over the emotional and practical components of decluttering after someone has passed away as well as some things you can do to make the process go faster and smoother.

Get Organized HQ Virtual is completely FREE to attend! All you need to do is click right here to grab your free ticket. You'll get an email with all of the links, including today's workshops, and help navigating the event schedule.

This event is a bit different than others that I've participated in previously; the workshops go live at different times throughout the day. (They remain free for 24 hours, like most events.)

If you're worried you'll miss something or you want to have unlimited access to all of the workshops, the All-Access pass is a steal! Get the free ticket, then look at everything that is included in the pass to decide if it's right for you.

I can’t wait to see you there.

P.S. Not interested in this event? Just click here and you won't receive any more email about it, but you'll still get my regular crafting email.
